"If You or Someone You Love
Have Thoughts or Behavior That TROUBLE YOU,
or You're Coping With a Traumatic Experience
That's PREVENTING YOU From Leading a Normal Life,
I Would Like To Help You..."

"How a Breakthrough Approach In Mental Health

Not Only Helps You Cope With an Issue,

But Actually ELIMINATES The Problem."

My name is Diane Ventura and I'm an Orlando Holistic Mental Health Counselor and Certified Life Coach. Many years ago I found out first hand that finding the right mental health professional was a lot harder than I had first thought. The quest to find the answers I was looking for  and the belief that there had to be a way to connect with a professional you could really trust, led me to become who I am today.

Many of the people I treat, do sessions because they:

  • Are troubled by their thoughts or behaviors
  • Are trying to work things out in a troubled relationship
  • Are parents dealing with problems with their children or teenagers
  • Are struggling with substance abuse, anxiety and/or fear
  • Are dealing with the effects of an accident they've suffered or the loss of a loved one.

Whatever issue you or someone you love is facing, I encourage you to read on because I may have a way to help you.

Getting To The Root Cause
Of The Problem And Eliminating It.

The approach I use is based on the combination of methods from cognitive and brain science and psychology, which unlike conventional methods gets to the root cause of the problem to eliminate it.

Lets say for instance, a person is having a relationship problem with his or her significant other, and the relationship is about to end because something other than love keeps getting in the way. The person decides to come in for a session because s/he notices that s/he has the problem.

During the session I ask the person to be aware of his or her reaction because I know that physiology will be present as the situation is discussed and will stimulate the brain and cause an activation of memory cells to fire up. This cause and effect or stimulus/response happens automatically (neurologically) and no one has any control over it.

By paying close attention to the client I will be able to tell when the physiology is present (I say when because it is always present whether the person is aware of it or not).

As I continue to ask for more information related to the physiology connected to the current situation, the next thing s/he might say is that it brings up a memory, for example, of a situation with his or her third grade teacher. This may be confusing because there is no logical reason for this memory; however, I will welcome it. In fact, I will encourage any other unrelated or illogical thoughts and memories that might come just as this one did.

Why do it this way? Because this is how the brain functions. The brain is being stimulated by the physiology not just the problematic situation. Therefore when our brain fires up what seems to be unrelated memories, they are in effect related physiologically.

Let us keep in mind that in this case the main source of the problem may be the reaction to the situation and not the situation itself. If we can remove the unwanted reaction, we might not have a situation. Again, I say might because problems and issues have a tendency of having many factors attached to them. None-the-less, lets say in this case that the reaction is key, I then find the root cause for the reaction through the use of cognitive methods .

By working inwardly, we then begin to connect the present situation with the new found comparison information. The more connections the better and this is mainly because if a person reacts a certain way towards a problematic or stressful situation, there is a probability that s/he can also have the same reaction in other aspects of his or her life. That is what we do as humans.

It is very rewarding to see how in just a few sessions, people notice a dramatic difference in their lives. If you feel I may be able to help you with your current issues or concerns, please feel free to call me at
407- 760-0065 or send me an e-mail .

Whether you choose a holistic or conventional approach, what is important is that you get the help you need and don't keep putting it off. Live your life to it's fullest.

Sincerely,

Diane Ventura
