About Diane Ventura Orlando Certified Lifestyle Trainer

I am a
Certified Lifestyle Trainer. I have a degree in Psychology and I have a license/certification from the BCE Institute of Holland. This training is
primarily based on a technique that involves various disciplines of neuroscience (the study of the brain). The training is also offered as a tool
for professional counselors, coaches, and other professionals in the healthcare field.
My education in psychology allows me to use techniques similar to a mental health counselor
where the focus is on the cognitive thoughts as well as the behavior, but at the same time I also work with the brain (mind, thoughts,
memories, belief systems, patterns) and the body (physiology).
It is with this knowledge of the human brain and its functions that I can extend
help to the people in a neurological way. This helps to better recognize the root cause of such cognitive thoughts and
behaviors. Some refer to this as body-mind psychotherapy.
In any given situation I am able to help an individual understand the reason
for their unwanted reactions and better yet eliminate them so that it does not continue to disrupt their life. I
would like to add that this method is non-directive and it is holistic because it refers to the complete individual both physiological and
psychological. I am not a Spiritual Healer and my treatments do not involve any healing touch, biofeedback, hypnosis, guided imagery, or
medications of any sort.
Each person is treated as a unique individual and everyone is welcomed regardless
of race, culture or background. I understand that at times it could be difficult to get the
necessary help and that the uncertainties can be overwhelming. Who can you trust, will they understand,
can this be fixed, or can I be fixed? These are questions that many people find asking themselves before getting the needed
help.
I've had my share of experiences and I can honesty say that I have a personal
understanding of overcoming adversities. This has allowed me to create a warm and trustworthy environment where people can feel free
to express themselves because I have been blessed with the ability to listen from a non-judgmental point of view.
Through many years of experience, I have been able to see that life may seem
harder on some then others and this causes much pain and fear. Everyone has a story to tell and I encourage the telling of such by honoring it
with privacy and confidentiality. In turn this will also create a key ingredient for a
successful session, namely trust.
In addition, I honestly believe that the acknowledgment that something is wrong
is 50% of the problem and so we are half-way to resolving the situation.
Part of my neuroscience training involved an extensive internship where I worked
directly under the Founder and instructor and I was given the opportunity to work directly with people that were diagnosed and classified with
having serious psychosomatic disorders prior to going to the Institute. Many of these individuals had been previously labeled with anxiety
disorders such as GAD, PTSD, depression and other mood disorder; as well as other psychotic disorders such as schizophrenia. There were some
that were still under their doctor’s care and extending neurological help gave far better results.
The secret is in the combination. The root of the problem was exposed
neurologically as each individual was helped with their belief systems and undesired behavioral patterns. This was done through various
psychological techniques and both provided the perfect solution, resulting in a total recovery from many of their psychosomatic
condition.
Today, I still continue to do the same rewarding work, but in addition I also
enjoy helping individuals in taking preventive steps to promote good health.
